The module ? Human Resource Management ? will show how to navigate the interview and hiring process in collaboration with HR, and help the development of a successful performance management process for your unit. In addition, scope of practice will be discussed to assist in assessing that all staff members are working to their full scope (and not beyond). There is also discussion of leadership styles to help you assess your own style to be effective as a leader. Learning Objectives: ? Develop an interview process for your unit; understand HR?s role in hiring new staff ? Engage staff through the performance management process ?
